COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) Announcement

The coronavirus (COVID-19) has greatly impacted our lives and sense of well-being. Our practice is monitoring the situation and taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of both our patients and staff. For this reason, we are are offering both telemedicine consult and in office visits. Please call us at (310) 997-4044 or email us at to set up an appointment.

  • Please inform the staff if you or someone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days or is having any symptoms such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, or chills.
  • Your intake paperwork will be e-mailed to you. Please remit them back to us electronically. If you are unable to do so, please communicate this with our office staff and we will further assist you.
  • Please remain in your parked car and call or text us when you have arrived. When the doctor is ready to see you, we will call or text you and direct you into the exam room so there is no waiting.
  • Please wear a mask and gloves prior to entering the building.
  • Only patients will be allowed to attend the appointment. No family members or guests will be allowed in the office without prior authorization from the office.
  • We will be performing a temperature check on our patients prior to entry into the office.
  • Please maintain a safe social distance of at least 6 feet.

Here are some further steps that we are taking to ensure everyone’s safety:

  • Temperature checks for all employees at the beginning of the work day.
  • All employees will wear masks at all times.
  • Separate workspaces for all employees.
  • Deep sterilization of all contact surfaces before and after each patient enters an exam room.
  • Contactless payment and check-out process.
  • We will be doing our best to have only one patient in the office at a time.

We are performing outpatient procedures such as EGD’s and colonoscopies at our state of the art outpatient surgery center. Extra precautions and protocols have been implemented to ensure everyone’s safety.

Surgical center protocols are as follows:

  • Cov-19 test required for all patients 48 hours prior to procedure
  • Patients will self quarantine after Cov-19 test until time of procedure (only negative results will be allowed to proceed)
  • Doctors and staff will undergo intermittent COV-19 testing
  • All forms and payments will be via electronic signatures and contactless prior to the procedure
  • Patients will be called in from their cars one by one when the nurses are ready for them to enter
  • Only patients may enter the surgery center (no one else accompanying them) - please contact surgery center in advance if exceptions are necessary
  • Patients must wear a mask upon entry
  • All medical personnel will be wearing two way personal protective equipment
  • There will be no waiting in the waiting room. Patients will have their temperatures screened and then enter the pre-op area
  • Every surgery room will be thoroughly disinfected after each procedure
  • Limited procedure volume in order to maintain social distancing and allow ample time for disinfection protocols.
